ASI-MV

Newton, MA (PRWEB) September 5, 2007

Inflexxion Inc. today announced the release of the Spanish Addiction Severity Index-Multimedia Version (ASI-MV®) Connect Program, the Spanish language version of the powerful, new substance abuse assessment system. Both the Spanish and English versions of ASI-MV are now Web-enabled. The Spanish ASI-MV Connect system includes three components: the client self-administered Spanish ASI-MV interview; clinical reports populated with client specific data; and a powerful Internet-based data analysis tool, the ASI-MV Connect Data Center.

“The Spanish ASI-MV allows Spanish speaking clients to communicate their responses in a culturally sensitive manner and the translation and adaptation from the English version is excellent. Clients report that the ASI-MV allows them to be more honest in their responses, which gives the clinician a more accurate picture of the client’s current substance abuse situation,” reports Patsy Romero, Region 2 Director of ValueOptions New Mexico.

This version allows Spanish speaking clients to self-administer the ASI-MV interview by listening and responding to questions in Spanish. Clinical reports populated with client-specific data are available to clinicians immediately following the interview, and include the narrative report, the client placement worksheet, the treatment planning tool and the domestic violence risk summary.

“The information gathered from the ASI-MV helps clinicians to develop individualized treatment plans that are relevant to each client. It also helps clinicians focus on tailored individual treatment as opposed to standard, non-specific treatment plans,” continues Romero.

The ASI-MV Connect Data Center streamlines data collection by eliminating the cost of collecting, cleaning and organizing ASI-MV data and it enables administrators to view and analyze data from multiple facilities.

“Inflexxion is proud to develop a product that has the power to reach an even larger portion of this country’s population so that clients can be assessed for potential substance abuse problems,” remarks Simon Budman, PhD, President and CEO of Inflexxion, Inc.

The Inflexxion Spanish ASI-MV Connect system can be downloaded directly from the Internet. System updates occur effortlessly and automatically whenever an Internet connection is established. For more information about this product, visit www.asi-mvconnect.com.
