LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – Pop star Britney Spears’ personal and business affairs will remain under the control of her father and an attorney who have been her conservators since early 2008 when her life was spinning out of control, a judge ruled on Thursday.

Conditional sentence for car thief
An Abbotsford man caught in a stolen car in the Comox Valley has been given a conditional discharge for his role in the crime. Welsey T. Judd, 26, was arrested on April 9 after a Comox Valley RCMP officer on patrol in an unmarked car was nearly hit by a vehicle coming onto Harmston Avenue.
