Arthritis drug found to work — maybe too well
An experimental pain reliever from Pfizer Inc. significantly reduces joint pain in people with knee arthritis, according to research published Wednesday in the New England Journal of Medicine. But further studies on the drug, tanezumab, have been suspended at the request of the Food and Drug Administration .
