Am I Wrong to Laugh at my Friends Joke?

Question by Erica R: Am I Wrong to Laugh at my Friends Joke?
Okay, all day I have been sick with a virus and basically kind of draggy all day. So I live with my fiance’s aunt and if you have read previous posts you will get the picture of how rude she can be. So today I was supposed to go to work at 4 p.m for half my shift because I told my sup I might make it in. He called me back and told me not to come in if I have a virus and to just come in Monday morning at 8 a.m and work til 9 p.m. That was fine with me so I just rested the rest of the day. So I have not really been feeling that great all day but one of my friends called me to talk about her date and she made a joke about some alcohol and Bacardi and I laughed. The first time I have laughed all day and his aunt got mad at me. She called my cell phone saying “I am so glad that you made such a remarkable recovery! Talking about Bacardi and everything. I thought you said you were sick, but with all the laughing I am so glad you made a quick recovery”. First question, is it wrong that she listened to my conversation? Second question, is it wrong that I laughed with my friend that made the joke, and yes my stomach still hurts but that did not steal my sense of humor? Third, am I wrong, since I pay $ 300 plus groceries to live in one room on the third floor and is never late on rent, that I did not go in to work at 4 and did not tell her? Am I wrong here?
