Drugs Don’t Work

An appeal against the criminalization of drug users. Drug addiction is a medical issue and not a criminal justice issue. By criminalizing drug users, governments exacerbate the problem, leading drug users to be even more reluctant to seek help. The song by the Verve – even though it has nothing to do with drug addiction – is a powerful backdrop the statement I’m attempting to make.
