La Sociedad Mutualista de los Obreros Mexicanos (SMDOM), âthe Mutual Aid Society of Mexican Workersâ is a voluntary group formed by immigrant workers to help them integrate into society. They offer protection for members who incurred debts because of illness or old age and help survivors of affiliates who died.
