Red Shouldered Hawk Rehab

Our rehab facility recently took in a very sad red shouldered hawk. This poor fellow fell into a vat of resin used in the manufacturing of plastic products and was thankfully rescued by plant workers. The resin stuck all over his feathers which not only prevents him from flying, but also hinders his ability to keep warm. Rehab Coordinator/Sanctuary Manager Joe Hoffmann explains what they are doing and why in this video. We plan on uploading further updates on the progress of this little red shoulder.
