A woman who was arrested Feb. 3 after attempting to pass a forged check at a convenience store while her five-year old son was waiting in a car outside was sentenced to two years in prison in Thursday’s session of the 21st Judicial District Court, Judge Reva L. Towslee-Corbett presiding.
