Along the menu bar, there will be a “Transfer” tab.  When you click it, a drop-down menu will appear. Click “ATRAC Audio Device”, which refers to your Sony MP3 Walkman player. You will notice another list appearing next to your computer’s song list, which is the ATRAC Audio Device list. Then, you will need to choose the songs or albums you want transferred into your Walkman by clicking the right arrow between the two lists. A status bar will appear, indicating the duration for the songs to be transferred. Once the transfer is completed, disconnect the Walkman from your computer.

How to use Sony Walkman MP3 to play the songs next is quite simple. You would need to first open the “Music Library”, which can be found on the main screen. A list of music filters will pop up, such as “Album”, “Artist”, and “Genre”. You can select either filter by choosing them and then press the “Play” button. Doing so will open up a list of music according to the filter you chose. Having the song in mind, click the subcategory it should be located in. A list of songs that belongs to the subcategory will appear. When you find the song you want, select it, and then press the “Play” button. The song will start to play. Generally, you can navigate through which songs you want by pressing the right arrow button to play the next track, press the left arrow to play the previous track, and press the “Play” button to have the track paused.
