I described the “****” at the end of this paragraph as a footnote.
My dear authors and readers. Not all the sites out there (in the WILD World of Web!!??) are what they seem or claim to be. Previously, I wrote about how an author is telling you to commit crime in order to have the bankruptcy removed. This article can be found on many sites. (If you want a link to that article, please feel free to contact me through the link at the end of this article or search my name on Google and Yahoo.). I do not want to mention the name of those great sites (such as the site you are viewing this article) in this article, in a case that a reader may accidentally misunderstand and blend the names and think those are also deceptive sites. “NO.” My friends there are a lot of good and honest sites out there. Therefore, you do not need to use the dishonest and unethical sites mentioned above.
I have seen quit a few of those author and sites. Above, I listed some of the websites that act deceitfully, list or publish other author’s articles using your name or content and WHEN you bring their violations (which is copy right infringement) to their attention, what they do in order to correct the issue is to abuse you more by making it even more illegal. Some of them such as ARTICLEBIZ.com even goes above and beyond- removes your article but leaves the links that is RSS fed from other site to ARTICLEBIZ alone. Most of these links are from ARTICLEBIZ associates or affiliate sites. Meaning that the traffic that follows your name and content still
will be directed to ARTICLEBIZ site, however, their will definitely be no mention of you name or contents.
Allow me to share my experience about the so-called reputable site ATRICLEBIZ. While back a couple of my customers, contacted me and informed me that ATRICLEBIZ was having links from Yahoo and Google to their site using my name. This mean, when someone would search my name (using Google, Yahoo, MSN, etc.), the search result would throw links out for the visitors to click and go to the sites. I went to the site and searched my name and could not find any articles relating to my name on ATRICLEBIZ site. As a result, through ATRICLEBIZ contact us link on the website, I immediately notified the ATRICLEBIZ (2) times. When I did not receive a response, I found the ATRICLEBIZ admin and tech support through “whois” and contacted the company. This was back in March 2008. Six months later, after forgetting that ATRICLEBIZ is an abuser, I went to ATRICLEBIZ website and posted several articles. As I was posting and getting approval for my articles; again, I received an email from a reader who said, “hey, I went to Articlebiz, chasing your link and was reading a couple of other peoples’ article which had no association to you. I then used its search box and saw
only one link to you on a different page which has no association with the any search engine links that took me to the site. Is this how it is supposed to work?-she asked. I replied ‘No.’ this is how some sites ILLEGALLY bring visitors to their sites.” As a result, I again sent 3 emails to the support through ATRICLEBIZ internal link (“Contact US”) waited 3 days and followed it up through other sites contacting the admin and initiated communications.
Again when I bring their violation to their attention, instead of fully correcting the problem, they blocked me from their site (which I do NOT CARE AT ALL), deleted my contents yet (DO NOT CARE AGAIN), NOTIFYED me that ARTICLEBIZ deleted my contents, informed me that they have the right to do so, BUT left some of those links and pages to the site (which is as a result of my name search- still alone). This happened from September 22, 2008 through Sept. 26, 2008. I was notified September 25, at 6:35 PM that they deleted my articles without any reasons. On Sept. 26, @6:34 AM, I received an email stating that I should read
http://www.articlebiz.com/terms_of_service/, which it means ATRICLEBIZ has the right to accept or deny any … (even after me humbly asked how I can correct my articles so that they can again be approved).
Allow me to give you a very quick background about me. I am a software/hardware design engineer. Please do not be mistaken, I am not a technician.
