Queer as Folk – Between the Lines – Ted and Emmett

Ted and Emmett have had a remarkable journey together. Starting as best friends, becoming lovers, torn apart by drugs and betrayal, and then with time and forgiveness they made a full circle and became best friends once more. “Between the Lines” by Sara Bareilles is a beautiful song. To me its about two people who are more than friends but less than lovers, and they want to push it, but it doesn’t work because something gets in the way. I really wanted to do a song interpretation video for this song. To me that really describes Ted and Em, always between the lines. This is told from Emmett’s point of view. (in the song it mentions “her”…for that i used it metaphorically…the “her” referring to Crystal Meth, the thing Ted chose over Emmett in their relationship) hope you weren’t bored by my description and understand the story i’m trying to tell. Enjoy 🙂 thank you for watching
