Question by CamPIL: Have you ever seen an adult afraid of an ice cream truck?
This weekend an ice cream truck pulled up in our neighborhood during a family gathering. My Brother,sister and I took all the kids out for ice cream. It was a huge deal because we haven’t seen one in our neighborhood for years. I then noticed my wife wasn’t outside w/ us. I found her playing a computer game looking as though she was fighting back tears. She told be she was tired and didn’t feel well then headed off to bed. Later when I asked what was up with her she said ” I don’t like ice cream trucks.” I asked her if there was a history w/ one or if somthing bad happened with one and she said no. All I got from her was “they really make me uncomfortable and feel sad” Now she has no medical mental issues and no history of any abuse or anything. She also won’t talk and told me to drop it. I just was wondering what the problem could be. Any Ideas?
