They need a very good lawyer. Even then, I’m not sure what good that will do today. Meth has a very bad rep, worse than crack. There won’t be any sympathy from a jury or the court.

That’s also definitely “for sale” quantities. There won’t be a plea that it’s just for personal use. I’m afraid it’s prison time and the best I can see is a plea bargain. If it’s a first time offense and there’s some bleeding heart appeal, like desperate for money for mother’s operation (and mother better actually need an operation), there’s a chance for some relief.

All that needs to be discussed with an attorney. We amateurs are mostly guessing.
