what exactly do I say to him I am soo shocked to learn that his addiction he has been hideing from me for 6 yearsfinally got the best of him and last night he didn’t call me and I stayed up all night worrying about where he was and what he was doing ….but he called from the local rehab center and told me he was in the hospital .. I freaked out on him and told him he should of called me and I would of been there for him!! but he feels he needs to do this all on his own ..so he’s owning up to it but what can I do to be more supportive for him!! ? please help me?

you cant understand what he is going through unless you’ve been there yourself. He doesnt need you to tell him that drugs are bad or that he has a problem, he knows that. He needs to know you will still be there for him when he is clean.
