Question by Artist: Why is it that weed cannot give someone a heart attack, but cocaine can?
both marijuana and cocaine are stimulants. and both speed up the heart rate and central nervous system. but why doesnt marijuana give people heart attacks no matter how much they have had? i knew one boy when i was in high school who died the first time he smoked crack. his heart was beating fast and he had a heart attack.

Completely different chemistry, and therefore different effects on the body.
