WEB FIRST: Torrington bank robber, who also made false 911 call, sent to jail for 10.5 years
LITCHFIELD — Torrington resident Richard Peschell’s criminal record wasn’t looking so great when he decided to rob a Litchfield Bancorp branch in December. He was already out on bond in a prior burglary case, and was due to go to jail for a period between six months and two years of a five-year suspended sentence.
