Question by opio-coca: I have a question about amphetamines and cocaine and schizophrenia…?
now we all know that binging on cocaine or amphetamines can cause users to experience amphetamine/cocaine psychosis. or in other words a form of drug induced psychosis. however it subsides and dissappears once the user comes down from his high.

but my question is: does cocaine or amphetmine use cause and or lead to PERMANENT schizophrenia or psychosis like hallucinogens or marijuana use can?

BTW: no anti drug propoganda please. i just want the facts. please list your where you got your information from

it can led to permanent schizophrenia and its not pretty it happened to a member of my family and the Dr. at the nuthouse said it was high levels of speed drugs that caused it
