one of my best friends turned against me and said I should die on the delivery room table?
Question by Miley: one of my best friends turned against me and said I should die on the delivery room table?
My friend Meg and I had been friends for two years. I never knew that she had a meth problem until it became apparent due to the people she was hanging out with. It went from her and I hanging out together and her being sober, to her hanging out with her druggie boyfriend and other drug abuser friends. I didn’t want any part of that so I sorta distanced myself from her. She’s back into meth hardcore and the last time we talked, she said that she hopes my baby and I die on the delivery room table. She’s really mad at me because she cannot have a kid herself and basically took her anger out on me. I have been nothing but nice to her. Took her to concerts, gave her money when she needed it, and so on. I told her that since she had a meth problem and didn’t want to seek help, I couldn’t be her friend anymore, that’s when she freaked out on me. We haven’t talked to each other in months. Why did she treat me like that when all I’ve done for her was good things?

Meth makes people do and say horrible things, and unless she gets it under control, you need to distance yourself from her. Make some good, straight friends, and enjoy your life with your new baby.
