Question by D dawg: What are the effects of marijuana abuse on an adolescent mind?
I was just wondering what happens to a growing mind if they use pot almost daily.
I used pot almost daily from the time I was 14 until … well … about 2 weeks ago lol and am now 23. I was just wondering what the effects could be from smoking that often. I mean, I obviously didn’t smoke EVERY DAY but almost everyday … everyday when I could get it, and I had a big group of friends so in most cases at least one of us had some. The longest I went was 3 months without and that was only once just to see the difference. There wasn’t much of one.
All in all, I was just wondering what has been found/what the theories are of what marijuana abuse like that does to an adolescent mind.

Loss of memory. I had high school friends who used to smoke, and their grades went from A’s & B’s , to failing. Studies also show it causes loss of memory.
