My Love affair with Opiates(Pills/Heroin-IV)started after a major accident in 1987 at the age of 22.Now after 21 years of….Well Hell I suppose one could say.The first seventeen years of my addiction I was able to hold it down,,Married, Kids, House, Cars, Boats, But after my divorce in 2004 my drug use became a free for all, My Heroin use got so bad.Now that i have just about lost every possession I owned, and in and out out treatment, and jail in Connecticut.I am Clean now(few months). Though i don’t want to use, because the end result is ALWAYS the same. My obsession with Opiates remains.I am going to Meetings, but i just can’t seem to make any friends.I have been out of the social life for so long, between work, and isolating myself during drug use i forgot how to make friends.
Anybody else having this problem?
