Decatur fire shuts down U.S. 27
U.S. 27 just north of Decatur was blocked Wednesday because of a fire in a sewage pit near Bunge North America, the Adams County Sheriff’s Department said. The fire was reported about 4 p.m. north of the grain and oil-seed processor formerly known as Central Soya at 1200 N. Second St. in Decatur.
