A question about cocaine abuse/abusers?

Question by tough cookie: A question about cocaine abuse/abusers?
What do you think of people that snort cocaine for recreation or for life? Are they scum, worthless, useless and every other epithet associated with drug users? Should it be their choice to use or not to (assuming they have no kids and fund their habit on their own) or does Uncle Sam have a right to say”no, no” and punish them with imprisonment?
