Question by Forever young: Do you think pollution and drug abuse are the major causes of many of our problems, physical and biological?
There’s a lot of focus on CNN on Autism, and it doesn’t seem anyone has a clue to the causes. I think attention should be focused on pollution and drug abuse.

I actually kind of agree with the pollution part – not just our air but in our water, food, toys etc…
We are a nation that eats foods and drinks filled with chemicals, plays with lead contaminated toys from china, sit on our bottoms and not exercise, and are constantly exposed to different toxins. We have an EPA that constantly allows companies to produce toxins into the air and keeps revising upward how much of a toxin is bad for you.
How many kids do you know that eat fast food, junk food and drink sodas ALL THE TIME. I am only a generation or so away from these kids (late 20s) but fast food and sodas were special treats – at a birthday or to celebrate something. And yet, my age group had the mercury filled vaccines and have a low occurance of autism, asthma, add, and all the other problems kids today have. H*ll, autism could be caused by the breakdown of the ozone layer – has anyone down research on that?
It is nice to think that by doing one thing differently that you can protect your children but until we completely change the way we live and the way we allow companies to behave, it isn’t going to happen.
