Is there a country where the indigenous population is treated fairly?
Statistics and incidents worldwide would suggest that indigineous populations are subjected to unfair treatment and discrimination. The natives in North and South America, the aboriginees in Oceania, and even Africans under colonization. While persecution seems to have disappeared in the last 50 years, there exists higher crime rates, drug/alcohol abuse and lower incomes in these communities. Are the societies inherently discriminatory and eurocentric or have the native populations failed to adapt? Should they have to?
