Question by Kavaan Shrike: what is it that keeps your faith in god when your in your darkest hour?
all these years i’ve held on to my faith in god, through poverty, living without heat or water for two and a half years, having my home destroyed in a storm last year, having an abusive mother as a child, having false friends that steal your money for crack, and having a friend who is extremly depressed from his parents death 3 months ago and constantly wants me to kill him so he can save his soul from hell. But i have finally been lost to the darkness when my girlfriend died in my arms from a cocaine overdose just 8 days ago, when I called out to him to help her nothing happened, just nothing but her shaking and then her head falling back I realize now that he was never really there for me in the first place, I’m certain that my faith is shattered and can never be repaired but I was wondering how you keep your faith in your darkest of hours.
