Gene Simmons in ‘Never Too Young To Die’ (1986)

The movie ‘Never Too Young To Die’ takes the lead in Gene’s movie career he started in the 80’s as the most cheesiest and just plain wrong, he played Van Ragnar, a hermaphrodite who is hell bent on world domination… The movie had some well known actors in small parts (even though it did not save the movie), like George Lazenby, who played the father of the hero in the story, Lazenby is best known for playing James Bond in ‘On Her Majesty’s Secret Service’ from 1969. The hero is played by John Stamos who was at the start of his movie career. He of course eventually got the part of ‘uncle’ Jesse Katsopolis in the famous Full House series. Another famous actor is Robert Englund who is known as Freddy Kruger in the Nightmare On Elm Street movies… This movie was made in mind to further launch the movie career of Vanity, than mostly known from her modeling career and her all girl group ‘Vanity 6’ and solo career with their biggest hit ‘Nasty Girl’. In 1987 she engaged Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx and was heavy into crack cocaine. Eventually the engagement was broken and she became a reborn Christian after she almost died of her drug addition in 1994 and she dropped the ‘Vanity’ act completely and wanted to be known again by her real name, Denise Katrina Matthews.
