Employer committed insurance fraud?

Question by wondering;): Employer committed insurance fraud?
My niece’s boss recently fraudulantly filled out insurance documents in her name and forged her signature. She has been in Alcoholic classes and when filling out paperwork for Blue Cross / Blue Shield, her employer checked “no” when asked if she had ever had alcohol abuse counseling to get her enrolled in a new insurance policy. This policy also has a higher deductible, so she did not want to switch policies; because of this, she did not fill out the paperwork for the new policy. So, her employer filled out the paperwork and signed her name and claimed she had never been in alcohol counseling in order to get her approved. What crimes did her employer commit? Does she have a lawsuit?
The reason she is wondering about a lawsuit is they cancelled her old insurance (which was a good plan) and filled out these documents to enroll her in a plan that is nowhere near as good, with a much higher deductible.

The employer may have some criminal actions brought against him or her. Civilly unless she suffered damages as a result which I doubt, she has no civil case $$$, kind of pathetic to even ask given she’s lost nothing.

If she has a loss then you can sue, from what you’ve added there is definately a loss.
