The Sri Lankan Newspaper on line the “Daily Mirror” reported this on Richard Quest. Richard Quest has been my favourite news reporter. I was disturbed when I saw this report and wanted to seek clarification
The report runs as follows:

CNN presenter arrested
Richard Quest, a popular CNN anchor and business travel specialist has been arrested in New York after a police officer who had stopped him for violating a park curfew found a small bag of methamphetamine in his pocket

apparently its true. it showed up on yahoo news a coulple days ago which shocked me as well. i’m a fan of richard so this makes me sad. i wouldnt have imagined richard to be using methamphetemine (its a kind of substance-drug). hopefully he realises his mistake and wouldnt repeat it in the future. he’s a great juornalist.
