If alcohol abuse is so harmful, how did Charles Bukowski live to his 70s?
Question by Mark: If alcohol abuse is so harmful, how did Charles Bukowski live to his 70s?
It seems like plenty of famous people who abuse alcohol make it to their 70s or 80s (assuming they don’t commit suicide like Hemingway or Hunter S. Thompson). I just don’t know how to square this with all the warnings I’ve heard about alcohol abuse leading to an early grave.
