If I am on probation, is it possible to terminate it early?

I plead guilty to a methamphetamine charge last year…. since than I have been completely sober for over a year, have complete outpatient treatment, returned to work, become a father (have been a husband for several years now) and have felt like I payed my dues to society… I was sentenced to 0 – 5 years probation… Is there any way for me to go to the court or ask my P.O. to finish this up? (without me looking like a jackass, otherwise I would have already just asked my P.O)

I feel like I have payed my dues and would like to be considered a responsible adult again and be able to enjoy a night out with my buddies and wife… its not exactly lovely being middle age and not allowed to even go to a bar because of a mistake you made one time in your life
To Well Duh!..

You are taking the arrogant attitude.. I had to do jail time, give up all my hunting guns and gun collection which totaled close to 6,000 dollars… I have paid all my dues I don’t understand how you think I owe society more than what I have given up because I chose to get high once in my life? I was asking people to respond who understood my question, not people who just bash on people who ask them with the mentality that your a great person who can put people down judging them by a question they asked…
One more thing, IM NOT ON PAROLE I said probation, first offense ever…
