Question by lil’ one: help me please! its about my best friend? read below,its a long explanation…?
My best friend is a guy I have known since kindergarten. He has a very messed up family in a rich, sort of soap opera kinda way. His older brother was heavy into drugs and drinking but got him into it as well. He brother is a successful rehab story, but im afraid my best friend is not. He was even heavier into it than his brother was. To go along with it, he is clinically depressed, bipolar, and suicidal. Me and little sister are all he has left. He hides things from his little sis though in order to protect her. I am his only friend left. He went to rehab after od on crystal meth. He almost died that night. He is almost out of rehab but a few weeks ago, his family took a 3 week safari to Africa. While he was there he relapsed. He took 12 perscription pain killers all at once and then almost killed himself, the entre bottle of ambien was in his mouth, he just decided swallowing wasnt the best way to spite his mom. When he called me from the payfone in the airport and told me this, i
lost it and started crying. I tried to hold it together, to be strong for him. He said he wanted to take me back to africa. that he would, when he got out. just us two, and that i was all he had left. I can’t speak to him or even write him now. He’s obviously back in a rehab that isn’t working. I just am sooo scared that ill get a call saying he finally managed to kill himself. Im so scared. I dont know whether or not he’ll be lliving or dead the next morning. I don’t know if i’ll ever see him again. Some one, please, help me to deal with this. Im so scared. I miss him so much.
