How many people in the world are on roxycodone or oxycodone?

I work for a pharmacy and all day its the same thing. People calling for those two painkillers or anything just like it. What the h*ll is wrong with people. I know its an addictive drug but d*mn. Are people so stupid they cant realize that they are becoming addicted. Its like they are fiends for it or like crack heads. I call it the new crack or exctasy. I gaurantee drug dealers would be out of business because this drug must be better than crack and cocaine combined. The patients remind me of resident evil zombies or something. Anyway can anyone tell me whats the deal, and why cant people see what this drug is doing to them. Imainly see it in caucasian middle age housewives who are bored with life, college kids who dont have anything else better to do, people who just got out of surgery, and of course drug addicts.
