Meth can be taken in by the body through smoking, snorting, or intravenous injection. Soon after the individual has injected meth into his system, he will experience a rush that could last for some minutes. This will give him a feeling of pleasure. Snorting and oral use of the powder produces only euphoria, but not a rush. Users can gets easily addicted and develop tolerance for this.

Meth, when taken in small amounts, can lead to decrease of appetite, increased wakefulness, increase of physical activity, increased respiration, hyperthermia, and euphoria. Other effects are:

* insomnia
* irritability
* convulsions
* confusion
* anxiety
* paranoia
* tremors
* aggressiveness

This has, in some cases, even resulted to death. I do hope that you get your friend to realize what he’s doing to himself. It would be better if he stops soon and gets himself treated.
