Do these two people deserve equal treatment and respect?

Laura: She is 20 something woman who is hard working businesswoman who is a dental hygienist and she is a well respected dental hygienist and in high school she got a big scholarship for a expensive university due to her high GPA, she lives in a nice 4 bedroom house and she owns a nice car.

Tommy: He is a 20 something male who recently sold 500 lbs of marijuana and 1000 lbs of crack cocaine and he is living in a house overlooking the ocean and he owns a nice car and since he feels that he has a learning disability and is unable to go to college he feels that he should take up selling drugs so he can get the rewards he feels that he deserves for his hard work at a retail store after 5 years, Tommy no longer sells drugs and he made over million in drug sales.

I think that they both deserve to be treated like hard working citizens.
