What is the difference between pseudoephedrine and phynylephedrine?

Now that my state (the whole country too??) has limited sales of medicines containing pseudoephedrine due to meth lab activity, I have not been able to get my trusty, non-drowsy sudafed. I have to go to the store when the pharmacist is in and get it from behind the counter. Since the pharmacist was not there when I went today, I bought phenyephedrine. What are the major differences?

neather of them are gonna cause drowsyness becuase it is mimics the epenepherine in your body.
the major difference is Chemical speudoephedrine is a synthetic ephedrine that has been made in a lab and works on the same channles as your natural Epenepherine.
Phenolepenepherine has a phenolgroup attached it is harder to breakdown becuase a phenol is a benzyl-alcohol wich is a very stable and unreactive molecule. harder to synthesis by a bunch of toothless meth addics with some lighter fluid and other chemicals that will remain nameless.
