Used meth my 2nd time 48 hours before upcoming tooth removal, is there risk with anesthesia due to this?
Question by Anxious about oral surgery: Used meth my 2nd time 48 hours before upcoming tooth removal, is there risk with anesthesia due to this?
I have an upcoming consultation and same day tooth extraction. The extraction MAY use General Anesthesia. I tried crystal meth once 6 days before and did it a second time approximately 48 hours before the appointment. I know I won’t be under the influence of the drug anymore at that time but I am concerned if the recent use is a possible danger with General Anesthesia. Also, I have only done meth twice as i just got some to experiment, so not a long time abuser. I snorted it mostly, tried only a couple hits from a pipe but disliked that method. According to my more experienced friends, the stuff I had wasn’t very good quality / long lasting.
I know I’ll no longer be under the effects of it but I’d like to know if it is very dangerous to have used it 48 hours before possible General Anesthesia?
If this is very dangerous, how long after the last use should I schedule the appointment?
