Has anyone successfully quit drinking coffee after being a heavy drinker? How do you pull that off?
Question by Fred Norris.: Has anyone successfully quit drinking coffee after being a heavy drinker? How do you pull that off?
I’m having too many bouts of high blood pressure and dehydration and I’m sick of feeling like crap. I think if I quit drinking coffee, to which I’m clearly addicted to, it might help in the long run.
However, I can’t fathom life without some sort of stimulant for the mornings. How could I do this? What sorts of teas or other beverages could help me cope with the the withdrawal that I will surely feel?

You don’t have to quit cold turkey, just slowly ease out of it.
To substitute coffee, try a smoothie and drinking water throughout the day. Your body will thank you.
Good luck!
