Ok I needed some good educated answers here. I was taking sudafed the regular kind not the new sudafed pe but the kind you have to get behind the counter you know with the pseudoephedrine in it back in March. I was admitted to the hospital because I had 2 mini strokes aka T.I.A.’s. My drug screen came up positive for amphetimines and no one believes me that all I was taking was sudafed. I’ve looked it up on many sites and about 80% of them say yes sudafed can cause a false positive in a urine drug screen which is what they did. Pseudoephedrine is the main ingredient meth makers use to make meth so I don’t see why it wouldn’t show up positive. Since That march I have had 1 more mini stroke and 1 major stroke and tested clean for amphetamines shouldn’t everyone believe me now? My blood tests are showing positive for Lupus Anticoagulant also. They call this Anti Phosholipid Syndrome or APS. I’m just really struggling with this because my wife will not let me live it down! I hate tweekers, never have been one and never will be one. Can someone do some research into this and give me links saying sudafed can give false positives. Thanks.

1. Why wouldn’t these professionals believe you? Perhaps you should seek a second or even third opinion.

2. Why wouldn’t your wife have know you were taking Sudafed?

3. Why the HELL doesn’t she believe you? Serious issues there.
