Question by bitzer: On Barack Obama’s Website it says he thinks the disparity between crack and powder bases-cocaine is wrong.
Does that mean that he thinks people shouldn’t go to jail if their caught with cocaine, or have cocaine in their system? I dont mean to sound mean or stupid, or racist. I like Obama and i’m just trying to figure out more of what he’s standing for.

He means he wants it all to fall under the same guidelines. He is saying both forms of the drug should be looked at as the same. One not being worse than the other.
