Question by Sam: Is it illegal to be in the house while someone is injecting heroin/using cocaine?
For instance, say I went to my friend (a drug addict)’s house, and he shot up heroin and was smoking crack cocaine, and then the police were called for a noise disturbance and found him with the needle in his arm and crack pipe in his mouth…. Even though *I* wasn’t using the drugs, could I be in any kind of legal trouble?

No, but it’s not a good place to be. You may get sometime with some handcuffs anyway. And just hope they’re not in the middle of filming an episode of cops.
