Meth overdose. Depression, anxiety, insomnia. Help me!!?
Question by Marc B: Meth overdose. Depression, anxiety, insomnia. Help me!!?
Hi guys, it’s taken a lot of courage to write this so please don’t shoot me down.
I tried crystal meth for the first time 2 weeks ago thinking it was mdma (also first time). It cost me for a little zip bag thing about 1/4 full and i put the lot on my gums throughout the night. This is what everyone has told me, althought i cant remember anything between 6am and 10am (i blanked out completely).
For the past two weeks i’ve had the worst anxiety I have ever known, it is all encompassing. My brain functions ok as in i still reply to people and can still do hard math etc…
I went to the gp and he did a neural examination (which consisted of 12 ‘tests’) he said i was fine. I’m not. At all!!
Today thought was the worst. I was hit with a wave of depression which lasted about 4 hours after drinking two beers with my dinner. all i could think about was dying and how these feelings were gonna stay forever.
just want to know wether anyone else has expericed this? and did it go away?
Hi again. I’m not a regular user of any drug.
Infact this was the first time i’ve ever tried any apart from weed (very rarely), which is why I did so much, not knowing and being surrounded by people as stupid as me.
and no i don’t drink heavily either, i had two beers with sunday lunch at a restaurant.
‘go ahead and be depressed, you deserve it’, is harsh and not helpful, so why did you even bother?

You simply must stay clean, period. You need to make it to some professional that specializes in A&D issues. Treatment would also make sense–if you are drinking 2 beers “with dinner” and trying meth for the hell of it, then there is some pretty faulty thinking going on. What are you NOT reporting in this question? You sound out of control.
