Given that he’s died, this is all understandable, but it’s a bit morose. This is a bit of the opposite: this was my introduction to DJ AM, in the form of his first appearance as a guest on Loveline. After hearing him talk about some of his experiences like in this clip, I became a fan of his without ever really hearing his music.
