What causes death in Heroin Overdose? I understand that painkillers kill .because of vomiting inside of the mouth after losing consciousness Please clarify as to how heroin causes death, and methamphetamines..

Heroin and painkillers should be generally the same. In both cases, you would die from severe respiratory depression. With meth, death usually comes from a heart attack or stroke.
