Meth addicts and criminals have rights in Iowa?
Question by Big Mama: Meth addicts and criminals have rights in Iowa?
We just recieved temporary custody of my husbands 13 year old daughter from his ex-wife. The 13 year old found her mothers meth pipe laying out, so she took it to school and gave it to her counselor. We have been trying for years to get custody of her since we realized and found out that her mom and her boyfriend were drug addict criminals. It took a 13 year old to get any attention from the courts by bringing a pipe to school and saying “HELP ME”. They were on the run for a week, and guess what….they let them both bond out in less than 3 hours. The courts wont give us a restraining order to protect ourselves. As soon as these two dip-sh**s get out of jail…they start making death threats against our new-born daughter, 2 year old son and the 13 year old. Cops say that unless they do physical harm…we have to “DEAL WITH IT” Help!! any ideas or advice. Thank You to all that answer
They call our cell phones because they know we have a recorder set up at our house. We have been trying for years just to get in front of a judge and all the judge does is continuences.
