Question by butterflies: How long does cocaine (crack) stay in your system?
I want to know if someone that I know could have been high (on crack) when they died. The toxicology report says negative for cocaine. But the body sat somewhere for maybe 3 days before it was found. This person was an addict. Could it have left the system while the body sat there?

if the body was not alive than neither was the metabolism–therefore the amount reflected after death should be accurate.

drugs may have still been a factor. perhaps a bad come down contributed.
