Question by Butterflie927: What are the effects of crack cocaine use by the FATHER on unborn children?
I have a child I’m working with whose father regularly drank and smoked crack. I have not been able to find any information about the affect of his habit on the child.

Please be serious, and if you have them, post websites so I can research this myself.
Thanks for the information but, the child is 6 1/2 years old so this isn’t a fertility issue.

Could his drug use damage the sperm and possibly cause some learning disabilities?
She isn’t around her father now and is not likely to be anytime soon.

I wouldn’t think there would be many physical effects because the father doesn’t carry the child in the womb, but I would think the pyschological effects would be extremely great. Thats just my serious opinion but I have no facts to back it.
