New Writer Gets On Page 1Of Google With 1St And 2Nd Articles Ever Written!

What I did:

I got my first page 1 ranking on Google ever! Yahoo! I must be making progress. This is so cool. It’s a sign of all the good things to come my way. I thought this would be such a daunting task, only the experienced people could do it. Only the SEO genius’s could get a guy like me there. Wow, was I wrong. It was actually pretty easy.

How I did it

This is going to be very technical. So if you’re new to this, just try to keep up.

I opened up a Microsoft Word document.
I just started writing about subjects I had freshly listened to on cd.
I opened a free account at EzineArticles.com
I logged in and opened the “Submit new article” tab
I copy and pasted my article from my Word document into the appropriate box (that part was self explanatory).
I put my website information / link in the signature box of the article (don’t worry, you’ll see it if you decide to write one yourself).
I hit the submit button.
A few days later I received an email saying the article was approved. So I clicked on the link to the article, then copied the url, then I tweeted the url from my Twitter account.
Then I copy and pasted the article from my Word document into my blog (I made a new blog post – which was my article). Then I linked the blog post to my article on ezinearticles.com.
Then a few days later, low and behold, I searched the title to my article and there it was on the 1st page.

Pretty technical huh? I knew you’d keep up.

In a nutshell

I wrote an article and submitted it to ezinearticles.com
I promoted the article from just two other sites – Twitter and my blog.

What I wrote about

The first one is titled “The Hocus Pocus of Internet Marketing”. It’s about using the law of attraction and how to use it to maximum potential. It also tells about positive versus negative thinking. You can Google – hocus pocus – or you can Google the title itself – The Hocus Pocus of Internet Marketing.
The second article is titled “20 Things to Twitter About Daily”. It’s a list of 20 things to tweet (the term used for sending a message) on a daily basis. It’s for those who want to use Twitter, but are having trouble thinking about what to write. You can Google the title – 20 Things to Twitter About Daily.

Where did I learn all this awesome stuff from?

From my business training program I’m in: http://www.michaelmeth.info There is extensive training on articles and just about every other way to market a business. Included with my membership are webinars done by the people listed next.
From two awesome people who did the training at: http://www.contentdivas.com/
More than anything else, you just learn by doing.

I hope you enjoyed this article and that it inspires you to your own success.
