Michael Jackson’s Hair Catches Fire Filming Pepsi Ad in 1984

CNN plays video obtained by US Weekly from 1984 of the late Michael Jackson and the infamous incident in which his hair catches fire while shooting an ad for Pepsi. It was then that he allegedly started taking Demerol to treat the pain. As Jim Moret says of the moment pyrotechnics sparked his hair, “that moment was a critical moment in Michael Jackson’s life.”
