Gary B Brighton Employee helps patients

Gary B is a recovering alcoholic. Gary is one of the many individuals in recovery who work at Brighton Hospital. Brighton is one of the nation’s oldest and most experienced alcoholism and addiction treatment centers. Individuals with two or more years of clean and sober recovery are eligible to apply for employment at Brighton Hospital, located in Michigan. Over two thirds of all Brighton Hospital employees are in successful recovery from drugs and alchohol, and many more are adult children of alcoholics or addicts or in other family relationships with recovering individuals. Brighton Hospital employees love working here; turnover is very low, and employees see the value of their work in helping patients to recover. In turn, patients benefit from employees who are engaged, motivated, and good role models of 12 step recovery themselves.
