Does ones appearance improve after crystal meth and cocaine abuse?
Hello, I hope someone has experience or has had experience with this topic because I’m really looking for some reassurance right now.
I’m 29 years old and I started using cocaine just after graduating college when I was 22. I was using for 6 years and I know for a fact that in those six years I may have thought I was using and paying for coke when in fact I was probably unkowingly being sold crystal meth… I was so messed up during those years I really didnt notice the change in my attitude and appearance until being clean this last year.
My skin is horrible because I have scars and blemishes from acne and its also still very discolored almost like Im missing color and pigment. The biggest change is that all of the muscle and fat tissue around my eyes and cheeks has dissapeared giving my face a very unhealthy look, almost as if its caved in. I get some really odd looks from people. I guess it’s hard to describe the changes I’ve went through but lets just say that I still look like a user even though its been over a year. Im pretty sure that cocaine doesnt affect ones looks so drastically so Im positive I have been dealt meth. I really regret ever getting into this mess and my heart goes out to those people still addicted.
Does anyone know if peoples looks ever return to normal after using this horrible drug, or am I stuck with the mistake I made forever.
